In lieu of in-person fellowship, the people in my church have been making videos of themselves to share with each other. I never made a video of myself before (except maybe short clips for family) but I thought it would be a nice challenge and give myself something to do during another weekend at home.
So Saturday morning I set up my camera, gathered a few props, and started filming! You can watch the video below, please excuse the part where I say “Hi, church family” unless, of course you happen to go to church with me. The rest of the video is similar to content on my blog.
One huge difference between blogging and vlogging— mistakes are much easier to fix in a blog! But I really enjoyed making the thumbnail and thinking of a cheesy clickbait-ish heading.
Like everyone else, I’m anxious to move on to the time where we gather with friends in close quarters and discuss subjects besides coronavirus, lockdowns, and conspiracy theories. I’m also anxious to have something else to blog about! Let’s see, heard today one of my sisters is plotting to purchase a live whole steer for butchering… this could be interesting….
I hope you can enjoy whatever your day has for you, and take advantage of the season we’re in!
Blessings, Susan

Hey Susan,
I enjoyed your little video clip! So nice to see you, (even though not in person.)
I’m so ready to shop at the grocery store, with out an annoying mask on my face!
( I’m trying to remember to count my blessing, even in times like this. )
If you ever start a YouTube channel, I would subscribe! 😊

Hi Aunt Vera!
Thanks for leaving such a nice comment! I’m glad you would subscribe to my channel, but it’s not very likely to happen, since I find blogging much easier.
Yes, those face masks can be uncomfortable. I guess they help encourage us to stay home!

Video blogging in lieu of church? Yikes! I hope this doesn’t spread to Rawlinsville.
